Eurohost > Domain Names > Transferring your Domain
If you are not happy with your current arrangements and you wish to transfer your domain name to Eurohost from another hosting company or registrar, it couldn’t be easier.
For .com/net/org/info/biz domains:
Please make sure that the listed email address for the domains Admin contact is correct and that you have access to it.
Please make sure that your domain name is not locked by the current registrar. If you need help checking this, please contact us.
Once the above is in order, please request us to transfer your domain by emailing our sales team or phoning us directly. We will then initiate the transfer.
You will then receive 1 to 2 emails stating your domain is being transferred to Eurohost. Simply click accept and your domain will be transferred. Transfers usually take 2-5 days depending on the current registrar.
For domains such as .org, .info, .biz you will need the "authorisation key" or "password" (EPP). You will get this information from your current registrar.
If you are moving from an ISP, such as Eircom or Esat please make sure that your account is in order with them, as billing issues can cause delays. Please also ensure that they remove all domain ‘MX’ and ‘A’ records from their system.

Please Fax us (01 8235692) a signed letter on your headed paper authorising the transfer of your IE domain to us. Just use the format below:

We wish to transfer our domain name ‘yourdomain.ie’ to Eurohost Internet Solutions Ltd.
Billing: AAE553 – IEDR
Technical: AAQ093 – IEDR
Signed by the domain Admin/Owner.
Transfers usually take 1-2 days depending on the IEDR.
NB: If you want to transfer your domain to us, please make sure you do so well in advance of the expiration date.
